ABOUT THE ROLE We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Scape Finance Team. As the Senior Accountant you will support small AR team and be a key player in the end-to-end accounting and finance cycle for Scape Finance Operations team. In addition, you will participate in financial close, analysis of business drivers, budgeting & forecasting as well as working with operational team.
This role based is in our Sydney CBD Head Office, 5 days per week.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE You will be detailed oriented with the ability to preform the below tasks:
Significant proven ability to produce run end to end month end processes from transactions recording to monthly variance analysis and reporting (R2R function).Highly developed technical skills with working understanding of Australian accounting standards, taxation and corporate reporting, preferably in the hospitality and property sector.Previous experience in a medium to large private trading company.Previous experience in preparation and analysis of management and financial reports.High level of proficiency of MS Excel, and other MS Office products – Word, PowerPoint, etc.Minimum of 8 years' experience in a commercial accounting roleQualified CA, CPA or equivalent.Previous, effective leadership experienceFamiliarity with medium to large ERP systemExperience of working on NetSuite, StarRez, Power BI is desirable but not compulsory.Excellent attention to detail, time management skill and ability to work independently.Strong interpersonal skill and clear communication skill in both written and verbal forms.Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.PERKS & BENEFITS At Scape, we are all about creating and sharing the good vibes.
