Senior Financial Accountant

Our Opportunity Work Location: Perth.
Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people Roster: Monday to Friday Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Financial Accountant will play a key role in leading the Iron Bridge accounting and reporting processes.
This position will involve close collaboration with key internal reporting, business partners and joint venture stakeholders to provide accurate financial reporting and identifying opportunities for best practices.
Key Responsibilities Lead month end accounting (including inventory valuation, COGS and production stripping) and management reporting processes (group reporting and JV reporting) Working with key stakeholders to assist produce and review monthly Joint Venture reports Provide Joint Venture support including budgeting and forecasting, cash call management and audit co-ordination Identifying opportunities and driving change to improve financial systems and reporting within the division and group Ad hoc duties and projects as required by Finance Qualifications and Experience Membership to the Institute of Chartered Accountants or CPA Australia Sound knowledge and application of Accounting Standards Minimum of 5 years' post qualification experience, mining experience advantageous Exposure to joint venture structures advantageous Advanced skills in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Experience in SAP and Anaplan advantageous Strong collaborative skills and confident in engaging with stakeholders to support delivery of outcomes About Us Be part of something big.
