Senior Financial Accountant

Full time AUD 115000 - 125000 per annum, CBD Based, WFH, Fle The purpose of this role is to provide effective and value adding accounting services and support focusing on financial management and reporting including Treasury, Tax and Audit preparation. This role provides leadership on financial accounting matters, input into the management accounting and board reporting cycles and oversight of the transactional payables and receivables team. You will be part of a fast-paced team of accountants who enjoy challenges and continually work to exceed expectations.Preparation of statutory accounts and leading the annual audit processLeading End of Month close, reporting, treasury management & Accounts Payable/Receivable functionsExternal audit experience, plus previous experience within the aged and community care industry would be advantageous but not essentialKnowledge of BAS, FBT and other ATO compliance obligationsDemonstrated experience in leading and growing a team, stakeholder engagement and robust communicationAbout youYou'll be ambitious, proactively managing all aspects of the client's annual compliance obligations.
