You will be working very closely with an impressive, friendly and motivated Finance Manager, who will mentor and welcome you into their warm, motivated team.Your new roleThis Senior Financial Accountant role will see you working within a medium-sized, collaborative finance team. You will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the Finance Manager in value-adding accounting services, with a strong focus on financial management and reporting. This will include treasury, tax and audit preparation also. You will be exposed to multiple areas within the business, and be given fantastic opportunities to excel in your career with this fantastic, growing organisation. You will manage a team of 4, including a Financial Accountant and three transactional staff. This is a senior role within the business that will open career progression doors. Ideal for someone in a Financial Accounting role, looking for the step before a Finance Manager position.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this position, you will be CA/CPA qualified or near qualified, with experience within a similar role. A can-do, motivated attitude with a willingness to learn will be essential during a time of growth and change within the industry. You will have good time management skills and a high attention to detail. Strong Excel skills and an analytical mindset will help you as well as good communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience within a not-for-profit organisation will be highly regarded, as will experience working within audit.
