We are seeking a driven and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our friendly finance team.Your Role:As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring robust financial reporting, compliance, and operational accounting.
This role goes beyond traditional accounting, offering the chance to be a strategic partner, driving financial performance and innovation.Key Responsibilities:Manage the full month-end financial reporting, prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of compliance and statutory reporting and compliance.Business partnering across multiple internal and external stakeholders.Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business objectives.Monitor financial performance and advise any opportunities for continuous improvement.Ensure efficient and accurate financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.Manage and mentor Finance team.Involve in technology software implementation and continuous improvement.Other duties that are assigned to you by your manager.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.5+ years of experience in financial management within a project-based environment.Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and best practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.Why Join Us?Be part of a vibrant and supportive team culture.Opportunity to lead and shape financial operations.Contribute to cutting-edge projects and continuous improvement efforts.Competitive salary and benefits package.Working from home opportunities.Waterfront Sydney location with modern office facilities.How to Apply:If you're ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, we want to hear from you!
