Senior Financial AccountantNSW State Government6 Months contractSydney CBD + 1x day WFHSalary equivalent to grade 9/10Role: Financial accounting functionsPrepare financial statutory financial statements, reports and accounting work papersPrepare pre-payment and accrual journals and other end-of-month activities, to enable informed financial decision-making and budget forecastingImplementing and undertaking accounting functions and projects as required, including asset management, cash management, systems development and process improvementProactively identify and resolve financial risks including transactional, reporting and account reconciliation issues, and develop mitigation strategiesEssential skills/ requirementsCA preferred Experience in accounting and related software systems (SAP, Calumo, My Outcome)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsEssential have worked in BIG 4 & in the NSW Government sectorAbility to work under pressure and independentStrong problem-solving skillsPermanent ResidencyIf you are interested and bring the essential requirements / skills please APPLY here or contact
