THE ROLE The Senior Financial Accountant's main deliverables include input into the preparation of the Department's annual statutory financial statements and monthly analysis and reporting of the portfolio's financial results to the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) and a number of other activities as outlined in the key accountabilities section below.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE: The role assists with the management of the Financial Accounting and Reporting Unit, including its staff and deliverables.Take a lead role in the reporting and analysis of the Department's annual financial statements and periodic reporting to the Department of Treasury and Finance.Technical financial accounting research and analysis as required and providing advice in writing and verbally as needed.Please open the position description to read more.
