As they enter an exciting growth phase, we are looking for a highly experienced Senior Financial Accountant to contribute to their continued success and ensure the finance function operates at the highest level.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Financial Manager, this newly created Senior Financial Accountant position will play a critical role supporting the financial reporting function. Your key deliverables will include:
Ownership of end-to-end month-end activities, including reconciliations and adjustmentsPreparation of statutory accounts and compliance with AASB requirementsManagement and reporting of fixed assetsPreparation and submission of ABS and other external reportsDriving process improvements to strengthen reporting accuracy and efficiency Ideal ProfileYou will be CA/CPA qualified, coupled with 7+ years experience and a deep understanding of financial reporting standards and statutory requirementsDemonstrated experience in a large, complex organization, ideally ASX-listedStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detailStrong communication skills, capable of building successful working relationships across a range of stakeholdersExperience using Netsuite will be favorably considered BenefitsBe part of a high-growth phase with career advancement opportunitiesCollaborative and innovative work culture that values purpose as much as performanceHybrid working arrangements in place
