Responsibilities The role reports to the CFO and is part of a small hands-on finance team. The key tasks are:
Manage 1 direct report, the Assistant Accountant.
Preparation of management reports and reporting on projects.
Month-end reporting including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Business partnering with department leaders - providing accurate reporting, analysis, and insights.
Daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow management.
Assist with board reporting.
Payroll management with support from the Assistant Accountant.
Manage and implement internal and 3rd party systems.
Process improvement projects.
Background Dynamic Senior Accountant with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and highly driven.
Commerce and industry background (any industry is fine).
Experience in a similar broad, hands-on role.
Advanced level Excel and strong systems user.
Stakeholder engagement - be proactive and able to problem solve.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
