Responsibilities The role reports to the CFO and is part of a small hands on finance team. They key tasks are -
Manage 1 direct report the Assistant AccountantPreparation of management reports and reporting on projectsMonth end reporting including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow statements, budgets and forecastsBusiness partnering with department leaders - providing accurate reporting, analysis and insightsDaily, weekly and monthly cashflow managementAssist with board reportingPayroll management with support from the Assistant AccountantManage and implement internal and 3rd party systemsProcess improvement projectsBackground Dynamic Senior Accountant with excellent communication skills, attention to detail and highly drivenCommerce and industry background (any industry is fine)CPA/CA qualifiedExperience in a similar broad, hands on roleAdvanced level Excel and strong systems userStakeholder engagement - be proactive and able to problem solveAbility to work in a fast paced environmentBenefits A great and broad scoped roleTerrific culture, great leadership and an amazingly talented teamA fascinating, unique and highly successful businessHybrid role with flexible start timeExcellent salary package 130k to 140k + superCareer progression to Finance Manager down the track
