Senior Financial Accountant

My client of 20+ years is currently searching to fill a key role within their Financial Accounting team.This stable and highly driven Financial Accounting team are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager you will provide a broad range of financial support to the wider business.You will provide accurate month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, shareholder reporting, IFRS financial statements, and accounting papers.Your key tasks will include:Monthly, quarterly, and annual close;Monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of financial and non-financial information;Collate information for shareholder presentations;Assist in the Audit & Risk committee accounting papers;Prepare ASIC statutory financial statements for multiple entities;Prepare solvency declarations and shareholder distribution statements;Month-end activities including posting general journals;Prepare tax effect accounting calculations.You will be CA/CPA qualified with a very strong technical expertise in relation to Australian and International Accounting Standards and ideally SAP experience.Your background will be ideally from Big4 Audit with commerce experience as well.
