About the role...
The purpose of this position is to provide accurate and timely financial management reports and data analysis to the management team and Board in accordance with relevant accounting standards and reporting requirements.
This role will provide additional skills and experience to support our existing finance team to provide proactive analysis of cost drivers to better understand core profitability of the business and make recommendations to improve financial performance and budgeting across the business.
We are looking for this role to have specific expertise in taxation, including systems to support the analysis and reporting of fringe benefits tax.
This role will also support the scoping and adoption of new processes and technological advancements in the finance functions, therefore we are looking for a professional who embraces change and contributes to a positive team culture.

Possession of a qualification as a Certified Practicing Accountant or equivalent Experience with taxation systems, planning and reporting, preferably fringe benefits tax Digital transformation experience - hands-on experience/implementation of complex integrated business systems for medium to large accounting software, including Oracle NetSuite, Workday/Adaptive Active team member, positive demeanour, motivated, supportive of colleagues and organisational/technological change Previous experience in a similar role, including sound knowledge of financial practices to provide accurate and timely financial management reports and data analysis Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and the impact of future changes Experience with Excel and integrations with other reporting systems Demonstrated experience in the interpretation and use of data, problem-solving and analysis Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a number of projects simultaneously and to tight deadlines Next steps...
