Job Opportunity: Senior Financial Accountant
Are you a seasoned financial professional with a passion for accuracy and a knack for process improvement?
Join a dynamic team as a Senior Financial Accountant and play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Month-End Mastery: Perform month-end processes with a focus on ensuring the accuracy of all reconciliations.
Journal Entries: Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc journal entries to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the P&L and Balance Sheet.
Financial Analysis: Interpret, analyse, and explain financial results to assist in building accountability and driving finance performance.
Support & Review: Support and review other accounting functions at month-end.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance team efficiency and accuracy.
Audit Preparation: Prepare reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for the external audit team.
Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Ad-Hoc Projects: Handle ad-hoc projects and duties as required by the business.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably within the health care industry.
Education: Relevant qualifications in finance (CPA / CA Qualified).
System Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
Strategic Thinking: Ensure accounting operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with company objectives.
Analytical Skills: Expertise in forecasting and planning.
