NSW State Government 6 Months contract Sydney CBD + 1x day WFH Salary equivalent to grade 9/10 Role: Financial accounting functions
Prepare financial statutory financial statements, reports and accounting work papers Prepare pre-payment and accrual journals and other end-of-month activities, to enable informed financial decision-making and budget forecasting Implementing and undertaking accounting functions and projects as required, including asset management, cash management, systems development and process improvement Proactively identify and resolve financial risks including transactional, reporting and account reconciliation issues, and develop mitigation strategies Essential skills/ requirements
