Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join our high performing Corporate Finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a challenging and technically focussed role, responsible for producing accurate and timely financial reporting information for our Corporate Finance team. The scope of the role will include: Month-end close duties including balance sheet reconciliations and accruals Involved in Month-end reporting, manage journals postings and general ledger reconciliations Manage statutory requirements such as BAS returns, FBT, GST, Income Tax compliance and employment taxes Dealing with internal and external queries on all revenue related system matters Manage daily treasury positions of the company (forecast vs actual) and make recommendations on funding action Ensure control outlined within Sarbanes Oxley Legislation are understood and executed Partner with corporate finance team on audit / ad-hoc queries and assisting with financial statement preparation Involve in process and system improvement strategies or projects as directed by Finance team initiatives. Qualifications Experience in a similar role within large corporate environment (ideal). Degree qualified in a field with commerce, business, accounting and/or finance. CA/CPA qualified preferred. Big-4 experience highly regarded but not essential. Experience with large ERP systems. Advanced Excel Skills. A high attention to detail, strong work ethic as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and operate efficiently in a highly complex environment.
