Our client is a leading healthcare organisation known for delivering specialist services that impact the lives of over 30,000 Queenslanders.
Key responsibilities include: Developing, documenting, maintaining and delivering the financial reporting month end close process per agreed timetable.
Developing, documenting and maintaining the chart of account cost centre and general ledger account structures within the financial management information systems.
Preparing monthly BAS and annual FBT returns.
Completing annual WorkCover renewal returns.
Liaising with the Internal Audit Team to ensure that financial processes are within agreed framework.
Unlocking efficiencies and reducing complexity to deliver more timely, accurate and transparent financial information and services.
Re-engineering finance processes to optimise, standardise (system agnostic) and improve work flows, with a focus on automation.
About You You are a CA / CPA qualified finance professional.
Your background highlights financial accounting and demonstrated experience in improving processes and driving efficiencies.
You understand complex business challenges, are also able to navigate complex, dynamic businesses and build strong working relationships with all stakeholder groups.
Knowledge of not-for-profit or charitable organisations is advantageous, but not essential.
