Senior Financial Accountant – Corporate and Tax , where you'll play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust tax compliance, and driving process improvements within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:Corporate Accounting:
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Reconcile key accounts and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/AASB).Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary support during audits.
Tax Compliance:
Manage corporate tax obligations, including income tax, GST, and FBT compliance.Prepare and lodge tax returns, BAS, and other statutory filings.Monitor legislative changes to ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations.
Process Improvements:
Identify opportunities to enhance financial reporting and tax compliance processes.Drive automation and efficiency initiatives to streamline workflows.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and guidance.Support management with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.
