Leading Financial Services Organisation End-to-End Financial Control role with progression pathway Great Culture, Flexibility & Hybrid WFH Client Details My client is a leading Financial Services organisation within the lending sector known for their amazing culture where they put their employees first ensuring work life balance, clear progression opportunities, flexibility and hybrid work from home (3 days in the office, 2 days work from home), promotions and recognition, and nurturing their employees to help them grow and develop their careers.
My client is seeking a high calibre External Auditor to join their Finance team in this end-to-end Finance role.
This is a broad and high profile Senior Financial Accountant role giving you the opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of responsibilities and projects in this end-to-end role and make a real impact on the business.
Description Responsibilities include: Ensure the timely completion of month-end close, balance sheet reconciliation, year-end & half-year financial statement preparation.
Prepare the Group consolidation and elimination entries Investigate variances Assist with APRA reporting Reconcile the loan transactions to the bank Assist in the preparation of BAS, FBT and Income Tax returns Preparation of tax effect accounting for the Group Manage relationship with external auditors Research and preparation of the division's technical accounting papers, including credit losses and revenue.
Work closely with various AASB accounting standards Process improvements and projects Profile This is an excellent opportunity for a CA / CPA Qualified External Auditor within the Big 4 / Mid-Tier CA Firms looking to make their first move to broaden their exposure and work for a well known brand with excellent progression opportunities.
The successful candidate must be: CA / CPA qualified  3-6 years External Audit experience working in a BIG 4 / Mid-Tier Professional Services CA Firm or in a similar Senior Financial Accountant role within a Group Finance team Experience working closely with various AASB standards Experience with technical Accounting papers Strong tax background and internal controls background Confidence and the ability to hold your own when liaising with senior stakeholders Detail-oriented, hands on approach, can-do attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills Enjoys working in a collaborative environment Advanced / Intermediate Excel skills (ability to build pivots, v-lookups and complex formulas) Job Offer This is a permanent role and the salary on offer is $115k to $125k base + super + bonus potential.
