Senior Financial Accountant (Big4 + Asx Experience)

Provide technical accounting expertise across group statutory obligationsPrepare consolidated monthly financial statementsAbout Our ClientAn ASX-listed business with a global presence, our client is experiencing project growth and as a result is now seeking to expand its Group reporting and technical accounting team.Job DescriptionReporting into the Group Reporting Manager, this role will be responsible for:Preparation of group statutory reportingPreparation of technical accounting papersLiaising with external auditors on the workflow of audit campaignsPreparation and consolidation of group resultsBudgeting and forecastingOverview of the general ledger reconciliation processTax effect accountingManage financial risk assessmentsEnsure compliance with IFRS and Group accounting policiesContribute to the decision-making process of the management team that will have a direct impact on the strategic direction of the companyThe Successful ApplicantThe successful applicant will have a Big 4 audit training, with a strong knowledge of IFRS.
