Based in Canberra ACT you will be responsible for the provision of support and advice to Chief Financial Officer in delivering the required financial outcomes of the Agency.

Senior Executive Services Band 1 Equivalent - NV1 security clearance Required.

Contract and Salary
24th September 2024 - 24th March 2025 + likely extension
$203,843 - $234,851 + Super
37.5 hours per week
The Role
As the specialist advisor, you will provide the following services to the Chief Financial Officer:
Provide support when required to the Costing Directorate on the nuclear-powered submarine program cost model.
Provide advice on the coordination of the nuclear-powered submarine program's Commonwealth Budget.
Support the CFO to design and build a team of qualified and experienced people to support delivery of the nuclear-powered submarine program.
Provide financial commercial support for partner agreements and contracts, including financial investigation services, tax planning, analysis, modelling, tenders and advice on budget impacts.
Desirable Skills:
Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualifications.
Experience in financial management within a Commonwealth Agency.
Demonstrated senior stakeholder management and government engagement experience Demonstrated knowledge and experience in financial operations activities and legislative requirements.
Key Requirements
