About the role
The Financial Accounting and Operations unit, part of the Corporate Financial Services directorate, provides essential financial services for Queensland Public Trustee (QPT) customers, internal business areas, the Reform Management Group and staff.
These services support decision-making, accountability, and the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
As a Senior Finance Officer, you will play a key role in delivering transactional financial services, including accounts payable and accounts receivable on behalf of QPT customers and the QPT.
Your responsibilities will rotate between two streams relating to payments and banking, receipting and payroll, in addition to general responsibilities of maintaining shared email inboxes, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and preparing monthly accounting journals as required.
