Senior Finance Officer

Contract/TempWe are currently seeking a Senior Finance Officer for a critical department.Your contributionAs the Senior Finance Officer, you will:Coordinate and manage Finance processes in the department including AP, AR and purchase requisition.Be appointed as one of the certified procurement officers in the department to ensure that purchases are made in line with the Queensland procurement policy.Be the responsible officer for the department's corporate cards, petty cash, and cost center management.Act as the main liaison officer between Queensland Shared Services and the department and manage general finance queries from both internal and external stakeholders.Prepare monthly expenditure, revenue, and trial balance reports and complete an audit sample of transactions processed.Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Assist the Finance Team Leader during the annual end of financial year audit process.Supervise and provide training to casual and temporary employees within the work unit during major electoral events and participate actively in all facets of the conduct of electoral events where required.If you would like to know more about this role, please contact Alison Detaille at ****** or simply apply.
