Our Group's over 3000 team members consistently strive to make a difference in the communities we serve.About the role:As a valued member of our Commercial Finance team supporting the Power Services Business Unit, you'll drive financial initiatives that support the growth and success of Power Services South, Power Services North, Zinfra, and broader group strategic goals.
We are looking for a collaborative and forward-thinking Senior Finance Manager who brings not only strong financial and commercial expertise but also a desire to foster understanding and alignment across our teams.
In this meaningful role, you'll oversee multiple financial portfolios, managing budgets and forecasts that total approximately $600 million.
You'll help connect our financial strategy to business objectives, offering insights, analysis, and support that will empower our teams and shape our continued success.As a trusted advisor to the General Managers of Power Services South and Power Services North and their Leadership Teams, you'll contribute actively to the Zinfra Commercial Finance Team, helping advance our overall strategic vision.Key Responsibilities:Lead budgeting and forecasting across maintenance, operations, and construction portfolios totalling approximately $600 million, ensuring alignment with our business goals.Provide detailed financial reporting and analysis to support well-informed decision-making.Lead and support a team of commercial finance analysts, managers, and support staff, nurturing their development and growth.Offer meaningful financial and commercial insights, with a focus on understanding key drivers within each portfolio.Work closely with senior leaders to shape business outcomes and support strategic growth.Actively participate in Zinfra Commercial Finance and Power Services leadership initiatives.About You:You're an experienced finance professional in the construction, maintenance, or utilities industry with a strategic and empathetic approach.
Your strengths include commercial acumen, a collaborative style, and a passion for supporting team and business success.
Your background likely includes:Strong expertise in financial management, analysis, and reporting, ideally within utilities, construction, or asset management sectors.A successful history of managing financial portfolios of similar scale, with a focus on ownership and responsibility for large budgets.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills that enable you to influence and collaborate at senior levels.A keen ability to understand and analyze financial drivers, providing insightful and strategic recommendations.A proactive, supportive, and solutions-oriented approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and positive outcomes.Relevant qualifications in finance, commerce, or a related field.Why you should come and work for us:Our people are our energy source and we offer meaningful benefits and rewards that work for you.
