What this job involves: We're looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our team and support our client's national portfolio!
You will lead and manage a team of Portfolio Accountants, business partnering with Property Managers and the client to deliver timely and accurate property accounts to local and international clients owning Australian based property assets.
A snapshot of the role:
Day to day management of a team of 3 Portfolio AccountantsEnsure team complies with all relevant Trust Accounting and Property Accounting policies and procedures inclusive of any client specific policiesDeliver a set of financial reports for a portfolio of assetsProcess and approve journal entriesPrepare balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare IFRS rent smoothing and incentive amortizations journalsLiaise with client finance teams on all property accounting mattersSound like you?
This is what we're looking for: Tertiary education in Accounting / FinanceAchievement of professional qualifications (CPA / CA) will be highly regardedPrior experience in Property / Real Estate industrySolid interpersonal and relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to liaise with people at all levelsSound written and oral communication skills with a positive approach to meeting client's needs whilst managing tenants' expectationsAbility to work independently as well as part of an effective teamDemonstrated ability to prioritise work within tight deadlinesProficiency in MRI / Argus or other asset management software will be desirableLocation: On-site – Sydney, NSW
