We aim to generate shared prosperity for our clients and the communities in which we operate and accelerate the transition to a sustainable future.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for:People management of a great team of accountantsEnsuring timeliness and quality delivery of quarterly shareholder reporting and analysisOverseeing and managing the change process of external auditors and global tax advisors with the Group Financial ControllerAssisting in the preparation and review of reporting as required including monthly financial resultsEvaluating and implementing budgeting and forecasting toolsManaging the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processOverseeing delivery of month-end and quarter-end tasks of the current teamMonitoring and ensuring compliance with financial services licenses in Australia, Singapore and USAssisting with projects within finance and across the businessEvaluating, improving and automating reporting processesContributing to the Data Warehouse project and other system implementation projectsQualifications, Experience and StrengthsWe are seeking candidates with the following qualifications, experience, and strengths:Demonstrated experience working at a senior level and leading a finance teamUndergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in Accounting/Business or FinanceQualified CA or CPA (ideally with public practice experience)Private equity or real assets experience is advantageousThorough understanding of Australian Accounting Standards, Australian Taxation and experience with global businesses preferredDemonstration of process improvement/re-engineering experience to improve efficiency and effectivenessSuperior attention to detailA team player, with strong stakeholder management skillsStrength to delegate where required and leverage the skills of the teamPlanning mindset complimented by organization, prioritisation and documentation skillsProject Management experienceInterest in/knowledge of sustainability and impact investing, well regardedAble to demonstrate core finance team capabilities: Client Focus, Cultivates Innovation, CollaboratesHow to ApplyWe pride ourselves on having a supportive New Forests culture that is inclusive to all and we would love to learn how you can bring your unique skills and experience to our business.
