Kudosity is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to take the lead in driving financial excellence, delivering powerful insights, and transforming processes across the organisation. How you'll make an impact Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the Finance functions. Leading a small team, you will provide financial insight to guide sustainable growth, ensure sound decision-making, and maintain financial health across the business.
This newly created role offers the chance to design and build upon current foundations, collaborating closely with a high-performing, transparent, and experienced leadership team.
What you'll do Financial Strategy & Decision Support Design and implement long-term financial strategies and objectives that align with the company's growth objectives. Deliver financial planning and analysis with insights to support strategic decision-making, including evaluating investment opportunities, performing cost-benefit analyses, and assessing new projects' financial viability. Partner with other departments to assess the financial impact of business decisions, providing recommendations to optimise outcomes. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure business compliance with regulatory requirements and rigorous accounting standards. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy, coordinating with external auditors as needed. Identify and manage financial risks by tracking market trends, evaluating credit risks, and establishing risk mitigation strategies. Budgeting & Forecasting Lead the company's annual budget and quarterly forecast process, working with department heads to align with budget targets. Collaborate with the Managing Director and leadership team to shape the financial narrative, ensuring clear ownership and understanding of KPIs. Financial Reporting Oversee and support the preparation of financial reports, ensuring they are accurate and compliant with applicable standards. Deliver clear and actionable reports for the executive team and stakeholders, providing insight into company performance. SaaS Metrics & Financial Analysis Establish performance metrics and frameworks to support product, channel and customer unit economics, focusing on key SaaS metrics such as retention, churn, CAC and LTV. Provide insights into product and customer revenue and cost metrics to guide sustainable growth. Financial Operations Support the Finance team to ensure accurate processing, adherence to internal controls, and timely financial control and reporting. Stakeholder Engagement Build relationships with the Managing Director and Executive team to integrate financial strategies with broader business goals. Present financial insights that are clear and influential, maintaining a customer-focused and ethical approach. What you'll bring Senior Financial Leadership: Experience in a senior finance role within high-growth environments, ideally with exposure to capital raising. Financial Communication: Ability to break down complex financial information into a commercially focused narrative. Strategic Collaboration: Proven experience in aligning financial strategies with overall company objectives, driving insights to support growth. Business Partnering: Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders, aligning financial strategies with business goals. Analytical & Modelling Skills: Strong expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and financial control frameworks. People Leadership: Experience in building and leading teams, fostering a high-trust, high-performance culture. Technology and SaaS Expertise: Experience in the tech sector, with a background in SaaS and SaaS-specific financial metrics (preferred). Professional Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications, with current CA/CPA (or equivalent) certification.
