Our staff are passionate and work together as a team to deliver on our mission and take everything we do to the next level.The opportunity:Reporting to the CEO/Founder, the Senior Finance Manager will lead the finance function within Ryderwear and its group of companies. The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the day to day finance function including accounts receivable, payable, payroll processing, daily reconciliations, end of month processing, and reporting.Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Lead and support the finance teamAbility to be hands-on and assist the finance team with day to day processes as and when required.Development and continual improvement of systems and processes used within finance with an eye to process improvement through the use of technology.Contribute to strategies for growth and ensure financial functions are sufficiently scalable to facilitate this.Development of management reports and analysis to support the executive team with an assessment of current business performance,oversee payroll function ensuring accuracy and alignment with latest Modern Award changes and FWContribute to the establishment and currency of standard operating practices across the finance function.Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts as needed throughout the yearPreparing and presenting long term financial forecasts including alignment with key strategiesOversee preparation of regular reportingCoordinate the statutory financial reporting process for Ryderwear and its group of companiesEstablish and ensure compliance with company accounting policies as well as local regulations.Advise on local and international business control and management on statutory and tax considerationsMonitor tax compliance obligations in the responsible territory and manage timely preparation of direct and indirect tax filings.Ascertain timely identification and communication of tax risk & opportunities, coordinate Legal and insurance obligations (risk management).Identification and implementation of appropriate ERP systems if and when required.To be successful in this role you will have:Finance or business tertiary qualifications or similar experience in a relevant field.Chartered Accountant or equivalentPrevious experience in an e-commerce field highly desirableExperience in working with a fast-growing private business in a senior finance capacity to put in place best-practice financial systems and processes3 years+ management or leadership experienceStrong experience in managing multiple systems, a solid understanding of the fundamental aspects of data integrity, and the bringing together of different systems for financial management and reporting.
