This is a newly created position that will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of our financial operations. You'll be responsible for everything from day-to-day accounting to strategic financial planning as we expand into international markets.About youYou're a finance professional with a background in startups, ideally with experience in subscription-based business models. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable wearing multiple hats. Your expertise spans across accounting, financial analysis, tax, and operational finance. You're a self-starter who can work independently, with excellent communication skills to interface with various stakeholders. You're excited about the opportunity to build and optimize financial processes in a growing company.Key responsibilitiesManage all aspects of day-to-day accounting (Xero);Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements;Develop and maintain comprehensive P&L statements;Create and maintain annual budgets, financial forecasts, and models;Oversee tax filings, including R&D tax returns (or liaise with 3rd party agencies on this);Manage payroll processing for employees;Optimize financial processes and implement internal controls;Prepare financial reports and analysis for Executive and Board.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA is a plus);3+ years of experience in finance roles, preferably in software or SaaS startups;Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management;Experience with Xero and other financial management software;Familiarity with subscription-based business models;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Excellent communication skills;Experience in companies that have scaled from current size to at least 10x revenue;Self-management skills and ability to work independently;Experience with fundraising and investor relations is beneficial.Apply for the jobDo you want to join our team as our new Senior Finance Manager?
