Senior Finance ManagerFixed term role: 12 monthsUsual hours of work: Full timeUsual work location: 1 Spring Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)The RoleThe role of the Senior Finance Manager is to deliver strategic and operational business and financial management support functions to the Victorian Fisheries Authority (VFA).
The responsibilities of the Senior Finance Manager will include:
Lead and manage financial analysis, reporting and strategy for the Board, senior management, and external stakeholders including the VFA's Portfolio Department.Use formal and informal channels to manage professional and productive relationships across DJSIR's Financial Management Division.Provide high level strategic budget and financial advice to the CEO, CFO and the executive leadership team of Victorian Fisheries Authority.The TeamThe position of Senior Finance Manager forms a part of the Victorian Fisheries Authority.
The VFA is a statutory authority established to facilitate the effective management of Victoria's fisheries resources in a coordinated and strategic way that ensures their ongoing sustainability. The VFA functions to ensure that the Government, the recreational and commercial fishing sectors, and the Victorian community can share in and obtain the benefits from sustainable fisheries management.
About YouThe successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
