As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will collaborate with CTP business stakeholders and F&A teams to drive the financial and operational success of our Personal Injury division. You'll play a key role in delivering critical business-as-usual tasks, including month-end and year-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and conducting industry and competitor analysis. Your insights will directly inform decision-making, so strong communication skills are a must as you deliver actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
What you'll do Complete required month end / quarter end tasks, including pre month end estimates and journalsAnalyse and report Gross Written Premiums for CTP portfolio, including all key metrics, for both actual and budget / forecastLiaise with system accounting and CTP portfolio to ensure smooth budget / forecast processIn depth understanding of insurance revenue to facilitate discussion with CTP portfolio team to drive the desired GWP outcomeOwner of CTP portfolio OPEX and FTE reporting, including allocation driver updates and review of expenses allocation outcome, for both actual and budget / forecastWhat you'll bring Degree qualification in accounting, Finance, or Actuarial (mandatory)Working towards or a Chartered Accountant or CPA (desired)Minimum 8 years' experience providing financial services across complex, multi-disciplinary businessesStrong general insurance knowledge (minimum 5 years' experience in the industry) - desiredStrong finance system knowledge (TM1 / Oracle) - desiredProven ability to work effectively with a large team of financial professionals; experience in stochastic modelling is an advantageCulture At Suncorp, our purpose has been at the core of our business for over 100 years.
