What you'll be doingIn this role you will support managers in achieving optimal financial outcomes through strong governance, control, and financial leadership.
You will collaborate closely with the Facility Finance Manager to drive efficiency and deliver accurate financial insights.
Your responsibilities will also include:

Planning, implementing, and monitoring financial governance structures.
Managing budgets and resource allocation for optimal outcomes.
Ensuring sound financial controls and efficient processes.
Providing accurate, reliable financial information for decision-making.
Leading and supporting the Finance team to achieve organisational goals.

Selection Criteria:

Relevant tertiary qualifications with a full and current membership to a relevant professional accounting body, as well as a record of ongoing professional development OR extensive relevant industry experience.
Demonstrated experience in financial operations of a Health Service (or similar body)
Excellent strategic planning and policy development skills.
Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills and experience in liaison and negotiation at all levels with a wide range of Stakeholders.
Well-developed issues management skills with the ability to apply sound judgement and work within tight deadlines in order to respond to sensitive and complex matters.
Demonstrated experience and proficiency in using financial computer systems such as Oracle as well as high level computer skills in PC based applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Access.
Demonstrated ability to develop business cases, enhancement proposals, business plans and briefs
