Your Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic team.
In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in shaping the financial strategy of our retail bank.
You will be responsible for comprehensive financial modeling, profitability analysis, and strategic reporting, ensuring that our financial practices align with the bank's goals and regulatory requirements.
In this position, you'll handle a range of financial functions, including:
Creating and maintaining the bank's 5-year Long-Term Financial Model Analysing data to generate actionable insights for stakeholders Assessing product profitability Managing operating expenses in line with the budget Conducting Expected Credit Loss (ECL) modeling Preparing relevant documentation for the Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) Updating the NIM calculator monthly Preparing finance board reports Contributing to capital planning and climate reporting Collaborating with the Data Analytics team to enhance reporting processes Leading software improvement projects Performing adhoc analyses The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an advanced degree or professional qualification (e.g.
CIMA, CFA, CPA or CA) required.
They should bring at least 5 years of retail banking experience, showcasing strong skills in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of a bank's balance sheet, profit and loss drivers, and regulatory requirements.
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
Experience with ERP system implementation and familiarity with data analytics platforms are a plus.
