In this key role, you will collaborate closely with the operations team to drive financial performance and provide strategic insights that support our timber funds and operations.
You will be instrumental in delivering financial analysis, cost control, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure the efficiency and profitability of the funds and timber manufacturing processes.Key responsibilities include:Partner with operational leaders in timber manufacturing to provide actionable financial insights, analysis, and recommendations that drive operational performance and profitabilityManage, mentor and build capability of finance teamDevelop and present comprehensive management reports, including dynamic dashboards and polished presentations tailored for senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity and impactLead the development and management of budgets, financial forecasts, and performance reporting for funds across multiple company entitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial objectives with operational goalsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timely deliveryEnsure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulationsDrive continuous improvements to reporting and systemsConduct detailed financial analysis to uncover trends, deliver actionable insights, and identify strategic opportunities that support business growth and decision-makingAbout You:We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and brings a high level of precision to their work.
You'll have:A minimum of 5 years' experience in a finance business partnering role within a manufacturing or production environmentTertiary qualifications and CA or CPA qualificationAbility to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders and senior managementStrong commercial acumen and experience working with senior leadership on strategic decisionsFlexible and adaptable to a changing environmentProficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting using tools such as Excel and Power BIWho we are?AAM Investment Group is an Australian owned and operated Agricultural Asset Management business and manages a range of agricultural assets across Australia.
