Your New Role Looks Like This: As a Senior Finance Analyst you will assist the Head of Finance, Enabling Functions to provide timely, accurate and commercially focused financial and management accounting support to the Enabling Functions business units.
While the primary responsibilities of this role focus on core tasks, there may be opportunities for you to engage in project work as needed. This could involve supporting cross-functional initiatives, contributing to process improvement efforts, or assisting with special assignments to meet evolving business needs. Flexibility and a proactive approach are essential, as project participation may vary depending on business priorities.
Please note that this role is a maternity leave cover for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities Include: Review and provide commentary on monthly and year to date financial performance within agreed timetable. FTE variance analysis. Production of effective business unit reporting. Completion of ABS Surveys. Co-ordinate with Financial Control on the delivery of internal and external audit processes in an effective and timely manner. Budgets and forecasts updated as required by the business to meet business unit and group requirements. Financial modelling as required to support business decisions, across business tenders, business restructure and benefit tracking. Provide support to the commercial and finance partner where required. Ad-hoc projects as required. About You: CA/CPA Qualified Minimum 5 years accounting experience preferably in a mid to large and complex organisation. Advanced analysis skills (budgeting and variance analysis). Ability to work methodically with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to deliver outcomes within time constraints and conflicting priorities.
