The opportunity:Be at the heart of our mission to become the world's most customer centric Healthcare company!The Senior Finance Analyst will provide support to the Finance Manager- Connected Care by leading and coordinating the annual/3 year planning/forecasting processes, provision of month-end reporting, ad hoc financial analysis and delivery of business insights.The role will support Data & Digital projects as well as provide support and coaching to Finance Analysts within the team and across the broader MU Functions team.How will I help?Lead and coordinate the delivery of the Data & Digital Projects forecast and annual operating plan as part of the 3 year annual planning process.Provide ad-hoc information, analysis and value-added insights to support decision making.Build and maintain trusted relationships and create successful partnerships with your stakeholders, developing a good understanding of the Data & Digital function and the key financial drivers to improve quality of value-added insight.Co-ordinate and oversee the monthly reporting processes including Flash, Functional Executive Report, Capex and monthly forecasts.Manage month end reporting close, delivering true and accurate financial results - includes preparation of month end journals, variance analysis and investigative enquiries to understand underlying cost drivers.Prepare monthly executive reporting submissions - includes variance commentary, forecast, risks and opportunities.What do I need?To succeed in this role, you'll need a degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, along with a CA or CPA qualification (or similar). Experience in management reporting, budgeting, planning, or FP&A within a large or complex environment is essential. Your experience should demonstrate a deep understanding of financial systems and processes, as well as the technical skills required to handle accounting, reporting, budgeting, and financial planning.In addition to technical expertise, strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are vital for simplifying complex financial concepts and explaining them clearly to a wide range of stakeholders. Being proactive, driven, and eager to exceed expectations is a must in this fast-paced environment.The ability to think both analytically and commercially, along with strong problem-solving skills, will support your efforts to build robust financial models and improve processes. A passion for understanding complex financial reporting processes and driving improvements and efficiencies will set you apart in this role.
