We are hiring a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team at Toll Group in St Kilda! This permanent, full-time position offers hybrid working flexibility, with the opportunity to work from home two days a week! Reporting to our innovative Head of Operational Excellence & R2R, you'll play a key role in providing essential support to Toll Group businesses, focusing on complex accounting issues and facilitating informed decision-making. A day in the life of a Senior Finance Analyst at Toll Group: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by supporting enhancements in financial reporting and assisting with month-end accounting.Manage Profit and Loss discussions, providing commentary to business unit managers.Analyse actual vs budget/forecast variances, offering effective commentary.Oversee monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, resolving issues promptly.Contribute to Board and Corporate Reporting, coordinating with team members.Lead and mentor direct reports and our offshore team through regular coaching and guidance.Identify cost control opportunities, implementing expense reduction measures.Drive strategic thinking and lead finance projects to enhance organizational growth and efficiency. What You'll Need to Succeed: Demonstrated experience in a similar role (finance / accounting).Strong problem-solving abilities.Proactive approach and a can-do attitude in tackling challenges and achieving team goals.Financial analysis and strategy planning expertise.Employ meticulous attention to detail and a data-driven approach to ensure accuracy and informed decision-making.Ability to lead and coach a small team.
