Duties maintain and develop policies, procedures and systems to support effective budget development and management across the Department; provide specialist advice, analysis and support to senior managers and staff on aspects relating to the management of the Department's budget; and maintain effective relationships with Divisions and external stakeholders. The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this position is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer. The following check is to be conducted: Conviction check for Crimes involving Dishonesty. Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline. A member or eligible for membership of CPA Australia, Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, or other professional accounting body.
