Ultimately your efforts will have a material impact on the success of the company - you will not simply be a small cog in a big wheel.This position will be Perth-Based with significant campaign field time at our Company-owned assets, including Paulsens Gold Operation, Coyote Gold Operation and Kal East Gold Project on a variable roster.About the OpportunityBeing the right-hand to the Exploration Manager, you will be responsible for the Greenfields and Brownfields exploration programs that will shape our future company success through:Integrating and analysing geological, geophysical, geochemical, and remote sensing data to identify exploration targets.Designing, planning, and implementing exploration programs.Providing direction, setting clear goals and expectations, guidance and support to team members and contractors.Ensuring resources, equipment, and training is provided that are fit for purpose, practical and add value to growing the exploration team.Effectively communicating exploration progress and results to internal and external stakeholders.About YouYou will need to have lateral and unconstrained thinking skills with demonstrated initiative and an ability to work independently and within a team.
Good interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative attitude is a must.Additionally, you need to have the below:Tertiary degree in Geoscience or a related discipline with strong experience in exploration, narrow-vein orogenic gold experience highly regarded.Leadership skills and experience with managing people and resources effectively.Proven track record of advancing exploration projects from concept to resource definition.Knowledge and experience of mineral systems and exploration targeting techniques including both Brownfield and Greenfields exploration using geophysics, geochemistry and geology.High degree of computer literacy and highly developed skills with geological modelling packages (Leapfrog), with geostatistical software experience a bonus, and GIS software packages (e.g.
