Also while including liaising with the Office of the Deputy Director General, senior executives in both public and private sectors.The successful personYou will have demonstrated:Experience in providing high level confidential executive and administrative support services and a sound knowledge of the functions of a senior executive officer or senior executive group.Proven ability to effectively manage the office of a senior executive in a demanding and fast paced environment.High level communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise, negotiate and consult with a wide variety of clients including senior executives, managers and members of the public on a range of sensitive issues.Ability to improve administrative systems and practices, use problem solving skills to provide solutions to a complex range of internal and external clients/stakeholders, and identify and lead service improvement opportunities with demonstrated conceptual, analytical and innovative skills.Proven ability to work autonomously and use discretion in the absence of decision-makers to establish work priorities and meet deadlines in a complex environment.About usThe Department of Health is responsible for the overall management of the public health system in Queensland.
