You will have responsibility to:Lead the strategic direction of multi-disciplined and diverse teams in a Branch, with a focus on driving the modernisation and transformation of new technology and service offerings for Senators, Members and their supporting staff, and Parliamentary departments.Proactively manage complex and sensitive issues and ambiguity, and act as a key escalation point for technical or service delivery matters related to branch service area of technical/professional discipline.Build and maintain branch staff capability and capacity to ensure effective and timely responses, and/or production of relevant digital products and services.Develop a highly autonomous, high performing environment within the branch that fosters innovation and contemporary approaches to parliamentary business service delivery.Ensure compliance and accountability with Commonwealth legislation, regulations, standards and codes of practice relating to security, information, parliamentary records and data management.Actively contribute to the overall strategic planning, operational capability and accountability of ISD and DPS and embed objective into the operational management of area of responsibility.Uphold the Parliamentary Service Values to the highest standards and promote a workplace culture that engenders trust, respect and inclusion, and where all individuals share a personal responsibility for promoting the health, safety and well being of others.
