About the opportunity: An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Executive Services Team as a Senior Executive Officer. In this key role, you will provide high-level executive support to our Executive Leadership Team and other senior leaders, including coordinating, preparing and contributing to the delivery of intra- and inter-agency ministerials, cabinet submissions, government submissions, and strategic priority projects. Key Selection Criteria: Please only address the dot points listed below in your application: Up to date knowledge of the machinery of government at the ministerial, parliamentary and departmental levels, and understanding of the protocols and procedures operating between a government agency and a ministerial office. Proven experience in written and verbal communication to different audiences and experience in writing a range of documents for executives and ministers that are clear, succinct, accurate and timely to achieve intended objectives or outcomes. Ability to plan, prioritise and organise high quality work for self and others to achieve goals and meet tight deadlines in an environment characterised by large workloads, interruptions and change, and at times with limited direction. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholders to meet timelines, problem solve and overcome challenges as required to ensure high quality work. Desirable Qualifications: Relevant business studies or equivalent work experience in senior administration. Remuneration: Classification- ASO6, $98,478 - $104,165 per annum Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week Special Conditions: This is a contract/term vacancy up to December 2025. This position is classified as a designated position and as such, appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory National Police Clearance screening check.
