The Role
The Defence Digital Group is seeking passionate and experienced Executive Assistants to deliver professional outcomes by supporting members of our Senior Executive.
To succeed in this role, you will have excellent people skills and the ability to anticipate the needs of Senior Executives whilst demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
You will manage a Senior Executive Service office including, but not limited to:
Proactively managing a complex diary, anticipating requirements and negotiating outcomes to manage your Senior Executive's time.
Ensure materials for all meetings and events are provided.Managing calls and resulting actions as needed while fostering high functioning networks and relationships to ensure prompt and appropriate action is taken.Liaison with internal and external stakeholders in relation to a broad range of matters including those of a complex and sensitive nature.Coordination of responses to correspondence, including corporate documentation, submissions, talking points, briefing papers and senior committee papers.Work as part of a small team to achieve the outcomes of the Division and Group. The Executive Assistants work closely with the DDG Executive to help plan, administer and facilitate organisational outcomes and priorities.
DDG has a blended workforce, Australian Public Service (APS), Australian Defence Force (ADF) and contractors of approximately 3,000 personnel who support the Defence mission globally.

To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated experience providing high-level support to Senior Executives.Demonstrated ability to achieve results, manage multiple priorities and respond flexibly in a high tempo environment.Demonstrated experience coordinating the development and preparation of high quality advice for a range of Ministerial, Parliamentary and Media correspondence.Strong attention to detail, ability to exercise sound judgement and highly developed administrative, planning and organisational skills.Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems and build stakeholder relationships.Ability to provide support with the highest degree of integrity and discretion.Highly developed oral and written communication skills and the ability to present information in a clear, concise and articulate manner.Eligibility Security Clearance:
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at "Negative Vetting Level 1".
