This role will involve: Assist the Director Events with the overall planning and management process for all Events.
Effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the event activity of the department to ensure all deadlines are met and all events are run successfully in accordance with the operating policies and procedures of the company.
Primary contact responsibilities for key tenants (i.e., Queensland Reds, Brisbane Roar, Brisbane Broncos, Dolphins) will be assigned to the Senior Event Manager by the Director Events.
These may be reassigned as required.
Concerts and any other tenants' events as assigned by the Director Events depending upon the event schedule and workload of Senior Event Managers.
Responsible for all aspects of allocated primary stakeholders events and be the primary coordinator for these events.
Ensure a Risk Management Assessment is conducted for each event.
Ensure each event is conducted in accordance with the Stadium's contractual obligations to the respective hirer.
Manage the Stadium Control Room as directed by the Event Director.
Manage the preparation of event rosters for security and event staff.
Oversee the production of all event documentation and ensure it is completed in a timely manner.
Ensure event costs represent value for money and reviewed and analysed regularly to ensure they are kept to a minimum, having regard to safety and operational efficiency.
Assist the Director Events in the preparation and analysis of all event reports.
Ensure all event reports and statistics are updated and maintained and reports are accurate and available in a timely manner.
Maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders.
Event Responsibilities: Coordination of event staff rosters with the Casual Event Day Staffing Manager.
Liaising with the venue caterer, ensure appropriate outlets are operating for the areas operating during the event and coordinate security staff requirements.
Manage the day-to-day Ticketing operations for their respective events (e.g., Ticket Sales Reports, post event ticket reconciliations etc).
Manage the responses and reporting of complaints for events under their control.
Coordinate the team training requirements for events under their control.
Liaise with hirer and other key stakeholders on the merchandising requirements for their events.
Coordinate media requirements including radio and print media and coordinate broadcast requirements in terms of bump in/out, camera positions and any other area which may impact the event.
Overall coordination of the Control Room set up for events under their control.
Preparation of post event reports for each event under their control.
Post season reports will also be required at the conclusion of each hirer's season.
Final sign off on all documentation for events under their control.
Other duties as required by the Director Events.
