Position Purpose The Senior Event Coordinator is responsible for delivering the logistics for designated events in the SA Division ensuring all events run smoothly and to budget whilst meeting the expectations of Property Council members and sponsors.
The role is to contribute as a culture adder and an effective team member helping to ensure the success of the SA Division.
ResponsibilitiesWork with SA Commercial Director to design the SA events program including the overall outline and calendar of events.Assist the Commercial Director with event marketing tasks.Plan and manage event and program communications and marketing, including weekly and post-event follow up.Interact at events with the objective to gain member feedback, information and knowledge and make members feel welcome.Manage and track individual event budgets to ensure they are on track to reach targets.Act as the Property Council representative on a specific committee and others as directed.QualificationsPrevious experience (ideally 3+ years) in events coordination or management demonstrating ability to multi-task and project manage under difficult scenarios and at different stages of their event cycle.Demonstrated experience working with detail-oriented tasks with a high level of accuracy, customer focus and professionalism, self-motivated.Marketing experience and/or expertise an advantage.Demonstrated ability to perform procedural driven tasks and clearly articulate requirements in a deadline driven, high pressured environment.Highly organised, polished phone manner, high attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills.Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise to meet and exceed deadlines.Professional attitude and professional personal presentation.Demonstrated ability to work independently and flexibly in a small team environment and under direction.Hard working, bright, astute, quick thinker and a 'can-do' attitude.About you Alongside a competitive remuneration and benefits package, we support ongoing professional development, fostering a culture of continual learning and improvement.
