The organisation is initiating a program of work to upgrade their Windows 11 environment, enhance and improve MS Intune capabilities, and migrate all Exchange and file servers to the cloud.
The Senior Cloud and Windows Engineer will work across each of these streams of work, within the Modern Workplace project team.
The opportunity is for a Senior Cloud and Windows Engineer to join the team for the duration of the 12-month project, with potential to convert to a permanent position with the team long-term.
Role and Responsibilities: Lead the transition from Active Directory to Intune, supporting desktop and laptop devices.Implement Intune policies.Develop designs into configuration / as-built guides and playbooks.Mitigation strategies that constitute the Essential Eight Standards.Development and presenting at Technical CAB meetings.Lead and guide others in the team.Support workshops, team meetings and product showcases.Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent field of study.ITIL certified.6+ years experience in cloud and windows engineering.Understanding of Network Access Control.MS Intune administration and Compliance policies management.Active Directory Group Policy administration.MS 365 including Exchange (cloud and on-prem).MS Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM).WIFI Certificate Management.Demonstrated experience practising ITIL guidelines and processes.***To be eligible for this position, candidates must have full working rights in Australia and be based in the Melbourne/Greater Melbourne area.
