POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Estimator to become an integral part of our Estimating Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES Supplier & Subcontractor Engagement: You will play a crucial role in interfacing with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring that our projects are supported by the best resources available.
This includes the responsibility of augmenting our panel of subcontractors and suppliers, fostering robust relationships, and negotiating favourable terms.
Cost Estimation: Deliver precise and comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects.
Your expertise will encompass materials, labour, equipment, and overhead costs, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
Bid Preparation: Prepare detailed and competitive bid proposals that align with client requirements and project specifications.
Your ability to develop transparent and professional documentation will be essential.
Project Management: Coordinate the estimation process within project timelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Financial Acumen: Optimise project profitability through strategic budgeting, cost control, and the implementation of cost-saving measures.
Risk Assessment: Identify and manage risks associated with project estimation, developing effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry innovations and best practices, integrating new technologies and methodologies into the estimation process.
REQUIREMENTS Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Several years of practical experience in the construction industry, with specific expertise in construction estimation.
Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
