As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for various projects, including repairs resulting from fire, flood, and storm damage.
You will collaborate closely with project managers, insurance adjusters, and subcontractors to deliver bids that reflect a detailed understanding of the project's scope, risks, and market trends.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial insurance repair projects.
Lead the submission of bids, ensuring compliance with project requirements and competitive pricing strategies.
Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine the scope, materials, labor, and timelines.
Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather up-to-date cost data.
Identify potential project risks and develop solutions to mitigate cost and schedule impacts.
Support value engineering efforts to optimize project efficiency and maintain budget targets.
Stay current with industry trends, material costs, and construction methods to ensure estimates reflect market conditions.
Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably within insurance repair or restoration.
Strong understanding of the construction industry, materials, and local building regulations.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Cost X, Buildsoft) and Microsoft Office.
High attention to detail with a track record of producing accurate and timely estimates.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
