Senior Estimator

A leading Architecturally designed home builder is looking for a Senior Estimator to join the business and take control of all tenders and client relations on projects valued up to $20mn

All projects are one-of-a-kind and highly detailed, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to work across a variety of new homes and build relationships with many new clients.
Backed by an established brand and sought after Builder/Director, it will be a long-term and stable role for a candidate who wants to make a strong impact on the Central Coast, northern beaches and eastern suburbs housing market.

Reporting to the Director of the business your duties will include: Preparation of initial estimating assessment of tendersPerform trade break ups of documentation, appropriate trade subcontractor selection lists, and liaise with subcontractors to ensure they have a full understanding of the required scope of works and programmeFinal preparation and presentation of rated and coded Bill of Quantities and/or cost plan for internal review and issuing appropriate information to stakeholdersComparison and analysis of subcontractor pricing Regular meetings with subcontractors throughout the tender period to ensure the most competitive pricing and accurate bidsEssential criteria for the Estimator joining: 5+ years from within another luxury residential home building companyExperience Estimating architecturally designed projects $5M +Proactive problem solver but also able to ask for help where neededExcellent time management skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent communication skillsPlease send your CV or enquiry to Anca Marinescu - ****** or call on 02 9376 8200
