About the role Role: Senior Estimator In this role, you will: Formal Education - Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Preferably Civil/Mining/Surveying) with full0time post-graduation in Finance is highly desirable.
Alternately a Finance/Accounting background with on-site project experience in mining operations/civil infrastructure (e.g.
roads, drains, dams, embankments etc.).
About you Work Experience- At least five (5) years' experience in estimation entailing preparation of detailed Bill of Quantity and estimation of equipment & infrastructures required.
Proficient with the use of the Microsoft Suite of software (Excel, Word).
Experience in excel spreadsheet based modeling and financial analysis.
Preferable to have experience in tendering/bidding process related financial modelling/estimation Preferable to have experience in mining, metals and/or minerals sector Technical Skills High proficiency in application of estimating methodologies and systems Understanding of commercial and legal contract conditions.
Capable of preparing schedule of rates, estimation sheet proficiently on a tool and excel using advanced functions/functionalities.
