Senior Estimator

We are looking for an Senior Estimator to join one of the most well respected Adelaide Construction Company located in the heart of the CBD.This company offer innovative design and construction solutions that ensures the best outcomes for all stakeholder and have completed world renown projects. Their values define their culture; upfront, progressive, involved and trusted and have been in Adelaide for the last 5 decades.A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Estimator to join the leadership team in their Adelaide Head Office. In this role, you will take responsibility for the efficient management on the tenders.Key responsibilities:Maximise profit on turnover through the tender processEnsure a success rate is achievedDevelop and maintain strong external stakeholder relationshipsProvide accurate cost advice to the project teamParticipate in senior management meetingsPrimary responsibilitiesActively market the company by establishing relationships through networkingProactively maintain an understanding of tender opportunities that are in the pipelineManage estimates and cost plansProvide mentoring in estimating and cost planning knowledge to members of the Estimating teamEnsure subcontractor relationships are maintained at high standardsSkills and experience:Ideally 5 + years' experience in Estimation in the Building sectorDegree in Construction Management or related fieldDemonstrated verbal and written communication skillsCommercially astuteProven track record of EstimatingBenefits:Excellent base salary – negotiable depending on experienceExcellent working conditionsExciting projectsIdeally you will have experience as Senior Estimator and have the runs on the board to prove your capacity to fulfil this role.
